Boomer began clowning in 1981 with the Za Ga Zig shrine temple in Des Moines, Iowa.  He was drawn to this philanthropic organization because of the work they do for children.  Clowning for children in adverse conditions remains a priority for Boomer.  Boomer attended Clown Camp at the University of Wisconsin in 1994.  This intensive week of clown training added much to his overflowing bag of tricks.  Boomer began clowning professionally this same year.  He went on to be a founding member of the Idaho Gem Jesters Clown Alley in 1998.  Boomer was the director of the 14th annual northwest festival of clowns held in his hometown of Boise, Idaho in October of 2002.  Boomer was brought in as a special featured instructor at Comedifest in Portland, Oregon in 2002 and has since join the staff there.

In 1999 Boomer was asked to present a 30 hour workshop in Boise on "Caring Clowning" it is through this experience that he met his wife SnickleFritz.   SnickleFritz was interested in clowning and took the classes.  Boomer immediately recognized her tremendous talent and a business partnership was formed in 2000.  The new business "FunHouse Productions" was born.  The team worked together in Idaho and Oregon for two years before forming their latest partnership.  The business partners became life partners on August 2nd of 2002.  The pair continues to work with charities such as; Make a Wish, M.A.D.D. and Mountain States Tumor institute.  The professional aspects of their business are continuing to grow at a tremendous rate.  Birthday parties, corporate parties and events keep the team busy throughout the year.  Recently they have added teaching magic and balloon art in community education classes and are currently a retail distributor of magic products and balloons.
